Love is in the air, and it seems that Neo Akpofure has caught the bug. In a recent tweet that showed his ‘lover boy’ side, Neo Akpofure advised Nigerians not to let go of their person when they find them.
Well, a lesson about this statement can be learnt from the author himself. He’s currently dating his fellow BBNaija alum Beauty Tukura, and they’ve been waxing strong for about a year now.
While Neo’s quote about not letting a good significant other go easily seemed sweet, there seemed to be a divide among netizens as to the validity of his statement.
Some people agreed with him, while others clearly couldn’t bear the thought that such s statement came from him, while bringing up his ex-girlfriend Vee into the equation.

A good number of these comments pointed fingers at Neo Akpofure’s failed relationship with Vee Iye.
Their relationship seemed like endgame when they were in the BBNaija house and shortly after they left, but everything turned sour, and netizens had to witness the former lovebirds cuss each other out on the internet.
Venita Akpofure also got in the mix of the lover’s spat, with Vee Iye dragging her over reasons known to only both of them.
