Nigerian comic actor, Mc lively in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, a media personality, has opened up about his struggles with his profession.
During the interview, Mc lively who studied law revealed how he struggled with the decision to dump law for comedy.
Mc lively said though he enjoyed his profession as a lawyer and excelled at it, but that he wasn’t feeling fulfilled in it. And it was a huge problem for him to make people understand his interest as a comedian.
Comparing his life to that of singer, Falz, who also dumped law for entertainment, Mc Lively concluded in his statement by saying that Falz is an inspiration and mentor to him
In his statement:
“I love law so much, and I excelled at it. But there’s such a struggle between what one does in school, and what obtains in real life. I mean, how do I go to law school and spend such huge amounts of money, and straight out of Law School, I’m being offered N5,000 per month. And before I even got that particular one, I had gone to 3 or 4 different chambers. Now, imagine what I would have to go through when I want to get an actual job.
It was such a huge problem when I was in law school, telling people that I wanted to be a comedian. People would always ask why I spent 5 years, including law school, just to end up as a comedian. Most times, when you want to do something, it’s always easier when there’s someone who has done that same thing. And I’m usually like Falz the Bahd Guy also he studied Law too. I just want to say, Thank you, boss; that’s one of my greatest inspirations and mentors.”

KFN recalls that Skit Maker and actor, Michael Sani Amanesi, known by his stage name MC Lively, opened up on a 2021 controversy he was engulfed in, in which it was reported that he impregnated his 21-year-old girlfriend and dumped her after he made her go through an abortion.
Speaking in an interview with media Personality, Chude Jideonwo, the 30-year-old content creator said the whole story was a lie masterminded by the girl to extort money from him.
According to him, “She always wants a sexual relationship. I didn’t want that. However, I saw something in her. I like music a lot and I’m drawn to people who can sing. So she called me and said she wanted help paying her house rent. I think the money was N800,000. I didn’t have that, so I ignored it.
Some time went by, and she called, saying she is on the island and wanted us to hang out. We did. It went down. Three weeks later, she said she was pregnant.
It is what it is, so what do you want to do? She said she wants to take it out, that her parents would kill her. I didn’t know that when someone tells you they are pregnant for you, the first thing is to ask for is the test kit. So one time I figured she was lying because she had been blackmailing and asking me for money.
Then one time she asked that she needed to go do something and it was a Saturday. I said I’m sorry but I don’t have money. She was so insistent so I sent the money eventually. Around 12 pm, I saw a long message saying she couldn’t go to the consultant because they all closed on Saturday. She said she would go on Monday. It didn’t make sense to me so I didn’t reply.
