Ghanaian actress, Tracey Boakye has stated that she has great respect got roadside prostitutes.
According to actress who recently joked about paying men for sex, the “commercial sex worker” tag placed on women who engage in such trade is quite wrong.
She stated that such women are no different from others who date and sleep with their boyfriends all for monetary and materials gains.
She also maintained that the respect she has for the prostitutes is because they took bold steps to take care of their needs by engaging the trade.
In an interview with Sammy Flex, Tracey Boakye said:
“In this world when you’re not married and you have sex, its prostitution. Whether you stand outside or do it indoors. Ghanaians we have a problem. We prefer those who always try to pretend. We are hypocrites.
“Someone is charging money for sex by the roadside, you on the other hand do it indoors yet at the end of the day, we tend to judge the roadside ones. If you’d ask me I’ll choose those who stand by the roadside any day because they’ve got courage”.
