Following the burial ceremony of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo’s mum that held on Friday, 27th of November, it was noticed that some of the veteran’s colleagues like Mercy Aigbe, Mide Martins, Nkechi Blessing and others were absent at the event for reasons unknown to many.
Kemi Filani recalls that the burial ceremony which held at Ikoyi default in Lagos, had in attendance lots of Nollywood celebrities like Toyin Abraham, Dayo Amusa, Sindodo Tayo, a few to mention.
Mercy Aigbe, Mide Martins on the other hands were nowhere to be found at the event and this we think is because these people were busy on movie sets on the very day the burial ceremony took place.
After thorough research on their social media pages, it can be deduced that these people shared photos and videos of them on movie sets and this gave an hint and also an evidence on why they were not present at the event.
Other artists like Funke Akindele, Eniola Badmus, Tayo Sobola, Nkechi Blessing, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola and lots more were also absent at the burial ceremony.
Although these claims are just mere speculations and not confirmed yet, but we think most of these celebrities could not attend the burial ceremony because of the short notice they were given and maybe because they are far away, busy with their different activities.
