The winner of the Next Rated Category of the 15th Headies Awards will get a Bentley 2022 model, orgainsers has said.
The organisers who announced this on Tuesday 1st March, 2022, during a press briefing in Lagos, said the decision to upgrade the car prize of the Next Rated Category to a Bentley was because they want a vehicle that stars can drive and take pride in, as opposed to the previous editions where the winners often end up giving the cars they won to their managers.
The organisers also disclosed that this year’s edition of the prestigious Nigerian music award would hold in the United States.
According to the organisers, the 15th Headies Awards will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, on July 2, 2022, with partnership from the US consulate.
Similarly, the organisers have also introduced the Headies academy, similar to Grammy academy.
The Core Academy will advises on how the Headies is governed, while the Voting Academy will focus on getting the best artists and music for the year in review.
