Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is currently trending online over a video of him hanging out with American power couple Rihanna and ASAP Rocky.
The Afrobeat singer, who last week, released his album Morayo, was at the British Fashion Awards, where he performed. The event, which was held on Monday, December 2nd, at the Royal Albert Hall in London, had in attendance Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, Julia Fox, Halle Bailey, Rita Ora, Venus Williams, and more.
In a clip that is currently making waves online, Wizkid was captured hanging out with Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, and Dave Chappelle.

In other news, in March, Wizkid while announcing his album, cautioned Nigerians against categorizing him as an Afrobeat artist and read the riot acts to Afrobeats lovers to avoid downloading his album. His statement didn’t sit well with many who slammed him for disrespecting the genre of music that paved the way for him.
Defending himself, Wizkid doubled down on his words as he explained his statement better, noting how he makes music not to be stereotyped or boxed. Telling Nigerians to educate themselves, he stated that though he is an African artist, he makes fine music and doesn’t want to be labeled as just an Afrobeat.
Last year, Wizkid had blasted his millions of fans pressuring him to make more music. He revealed that he was on holiday and would be back in 4 years, as he wanted to enjoy the fruit of his labor. He added that he could extend the vacation to 5 years or venture into a new career like playing ball, golf, or wrestling.
Following this, Wizkid had expressed interest in starring in movies, with the aim of kissing women, shooting guns and slapping people.
