Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has finally revealed his daughter’s name.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday that the music star had made his first public appearance with his daughter. The singer and his 6-month-old daughter, Morayo, alongside her mother, Jada Pollock, attended the premiere of his documentary, Wizkid: Long Live Lagos, at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. In videos that made rounds online, Wizkid was beaming with joy as he wore a matching white outfit with his mini-me.
On his Twitter page, Wizkid revealed that his daughter is named after his late mother, Morayo.
He tweeted, “Morayo Balogun”.
Recall that in January, news made rounds that the couple had welcomed their third child, a baby girl. Wizkid confirmed the news via the micro-blogging platform Twitter now known as X, as he expressed how much he missed his princess.
In February, while many were counting down to Valentine’s Day, Jada had demanded a pink Hermes bag for their daughter’s first Valentine.
It is surprising to see Wizkid and Jada in the same room as just last month, Jada had hinted at a break-up as she unfollowed the singer on Instagram.
