Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola has addressed the false reports making rounds over her latest interview.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that Wumi, in an interview with her colleague, revealed that she is open to being a second wife.
According to her, being a single mother of one has left her no choice but to accept whatever comes her way as she considers herself after one now. She further disclosed that she is open to marrying a widower, or someone like her, who has previously been married with kids.
However, many misconstrued her words and painted a false narrative about it.
Sharing a screenshot of one of such false articles about her interview, she revealed that she has been seeing different captions following the interview, especially from Facebook.
However, she wouldn’t be addressing them as she believes no intelligent person needs explanation.
“Facebook people…na another world Dem dey.
No caption I never see after the podcast.
Sensible people nor need explanation.
Na una go explain tire nor be me.
Dem still give me age join”.
In similar news, her colleague, Adeniyi Johnson had broken his silence on reports online that he had a teenage child.
The father of two who is married to his colleague, Seyi Edun was alleged to have a teenage child, who is also an upcoming actress in the Yoruba industry.
Taking to his Instagram page, Adeniyi Johnson refuted the allegation as he stated that the lady in question, is his Goddaughter in the industry.
Early this year, Wumi Toriola confirmed that her marriage to the father of her son had crashed after barely three years.
The actress while reflecting on 2022, revealed she walked away from a domestic violent and abusive relationship for her sanity’s sake.
Her ex-husband on his part, had something contrary to say, as he claimed that their marriage was filled with violence, deceit, and betrayal on Wumi Toriola’s part. Describing his marriage as a total regret, he further alleged that Wumi physically assaulted his mother.
Addressing his allegations, Wumi Toriola in a lengthy post on her Instagram page debunked the report, stating that she has never been physical with her mother-in-law or her mother and she had witnesses to back her up.
