Netizens have reacted to a viral clip of Yoruba Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola addressing her frequent violent character in movies.
During a live video session, Wumi Toriola claimed her movie character is in contrast to her real-life personality, stating she’s only interpreting her role in the best way.
The mother of one, who seemed to have an issue with an unidentified person, said she also bag love roles in movies, which she did very well, but many confuse her true personality with what they watch on screen.
However, netizens have refused to accept her clarification. One Barrister Dolapo, accused the actress of being toxic, claiming she likes making live Instagram videos anytime she has issues with someone, citing Toyin Abraham and Seyi Edun as examples.
“You are a bitter soul… the fact that you always come on live video anytime you have issues with someone shows you are too toxic… you did it to shai and Toyin. Any wise person in your industry won’t move close to you again.”
Kemi Filani recalls that Wumi Toriola called out Nollywood producers over the kinds of roles she was bagging in movies.
While promoting one of her movies, Wumi Toriola decried the violent roles she had been acting on recent and how it may affect her search for love.
Although the mother of one was joking about the post, she spoke about the goodness and the other side of marriage that made it to be successful.
Recall also that Toriola broke silence about having an affair with Toyin Abraham’s husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi.
