Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has lashed out at food critic Opeyemi Famakin for weighing into her beef with popular chef Chef T of Dairy of a Kitchen Lover.
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that Wumi had called out the popular check for ignoring her DM while promoting her movie, Queen Lateefah, last year. Wumi stated that she feels the chef doesn’t need anyone again and can grow independently.
Weighing into the beef, Opeyemi Famakin, in a video, had reprimanded Wumi Toriola as he defended the celebrity chef, which didn’t sit well with Wumi.
On her Instagram page, Toriola stated that she only responded to him because of his desperate need for attention and relevance. She noted how amusing it is for him to come at her without a defined career or any tangible job description. She claimed that the food critic has caused more harm than good to struggling entrepreneurs, all under the guise of being a self-appointed food critic.
She urged him to take a moment to reflect, establish a long-term career, or build a successful business before he approached her.

There’s really no need to act like a coward.
My name is Wumi Toriola, and I’m merely responding to your tantrums and desperate need for attention. If it brings you even a shred of relevance, I truly don’t mind.
It’s rather amusing, though, coming from someone without a defined career or any tangible job description. You’ve caused more harm than good to struggling entrepreneurs, all under the guise of being a self-appointed food critic.
Next time you feel the urge to come for me, perhaps take a moment to reflect, establish a long-term career or build a successful business of your own. That way, your words might carry a little more weight.

In an Instagram story, she stated that she has seen his shade at her but will only respond to someone with a career and a proper job description.

A few months back, Wumi threw shade online after netizens dragged and taunted her. The mother of one spoke about how nobody sought forgiveness even as 2024 came to an end. She noted that everyone was on a spree, and nobody offended anyone, which made all mute.
Last year, a fan of Wumi had reprimanded her for throwing shots at some of her colleagues who love to pretend they are decent. The fan advised her to leave others and stop creating enemies for herself and Wumi replied, telling him to shut up as she questioned if someone didn’t give birth to those actresses who are tagged indecent because of the facade they have created.
