Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has thrown shade at some of her colleagues for rubbishing her efforts.
Taking to her Instagram page, she revealed that someone called her a YouTube star, and her stubbornness made her take it with so much pride. Wumi noted how some of her colleagues are yet to conquer YouTube and are still floating in the box office world.
She questioned if some of their colleagues already knew them first before they started rebranding themselves. Telling them to keep playing, she admonished them to run their race and stop looking for Bollywood. She ended the post by telling her fans to beware of those comments rubbing people’s efforts.

Last week, while celebrating her birthday, Wumi noted how she has grown, evolved and transformed into a powerhouse woman. She stated that she has gradually proven herself and paid her dues in full diligence. She noted how she didn’t start today, and now, the works of her hands vindicate her, and it has also prepared a table before and ahead of her. Wumi expressed her excitement about this new phase of her life as she appreciated her Maker for not giving up on her.
In June, Toriola celebrated the conclusion of her latest project, the shooting of her first-ever cinema project, Queen Lateefah.
The mother of one had expressed gratitude to God and her cast and crew for their tireless efforts to make the production of her movie. She urged her fans to anticipate her project, which will hit the screens soon.
