Nigerian socialite Yhemo Lee has revealed why he couldn’t attend singer Davido’s wedding to his longtime partner, Chioma.
Kemi Filani reported that on Sunday, the lovebirds who have had a rocky relationship finally tied the knot in a lavish white wedding ceremony in Miami.
On his Snapchat page, while responding to a fan on why he wasn’t present at the talked-about wedding, Yhemo claimed that he was denied access to the US, just like Cubana Chief Priest. He stated that he has been pleading with the US and Nigerian authorities for a visa.
“Dem deny me and CP together. We dey beg USinNigeria so”.
Another fan, addressing him, noted that the socialite’s son is a US citizen, and Yhemo disagreed with her.
The fan wrote, “God will not allow you to see that, you wey your son be citizen. It’s not possible”.

A day back, Cubana Chief Priest explained the reason for missing their wedding. He pleaded with the US government to approve his visa, noting how disappointed and hurt many are over his absence. The socialite believed that delay isn’t denial, as he revealed that he was still hopeful and was comforted that his wife was in Miami to represent him.

Eniola Badmus, who was a former best friend of Davido, made a play on words using Davido’s song title as she prayed that their union be sweeter than Fall and stronger than Aye
Ruby Ojiakor congratulated the couple, describing Davido as her in-law and destiny helper, and Chioma as her Imo sister. Affirming her love for them, she declared that God is the greatest.
