Nollywood actor and Filmmaker, Yomi Fabiyi has confessed his feelings and love for his senior colleague, Funke Akindele.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a photo of them from a movie set years back, Yomi Fabiyi called for them to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
He noted how their relationship has been based on pure love, as he described her as the bride he never had.
“@funkejenifaakindele ore mi, Oya let us do our wedding anniversary oh. Years of our pure love re. The Bride I never had”.
Yomi Fabiyi speaks on his feelings for Mo Bimpe
Recall that last year following a sex-for-role accusation from his junior colleague, Mo Bimpe, Yomi Fabiyi had opened up on his relationship with her.
Yomi stressed that he is an adult and it is within his rights to be sexually attracted to any adult provided no force or coercion was involved. And that he has rights to sexual feelings provided it is within the ambits of the law.
He made this known in an Instagram post where he shared a photo of Mo Bimpe and attached evidence of how their conversation started.
Then in a lengthy post, he blasted the actress, emphasizing that he never offered her or anyone sex for role.
He then appealed to her to be bold enough to call out those she offered sex in the industry to get to wherever she is now.

Still speaking on the subject, Yomi had opened up on what transpired between himself and Mo Bimpe.
Yomi Fabiyi lamented how he was labeled wrong regarding his issues with Mo Bimpe, whom he claimed to have trained.
The controversial actor opened up on how he met the actress, who messaged him while he was about to release a new movie.
Yomi Fabiyi claimed that meeting Mo Bimpe came when he was set to begin shooting his movie in 2016, and the latter, who was a youth corp then, showed interest in acting.
He also narrated what transpired between them, how he groomed her for the role she acted in, and how he stood in the gap to ensure the top Nollywood artists featured in the movie were not turned off by her lack of experience.
Yomi Fabiyi repeatedly claimed that he did not have any s#xual relationship with Mo Bimpe and insisted that he only trained her in the Nollywood profession.
