Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, unlike his colleagues, has defended Lizzy Anjorin over theft allegations.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Lizzy was accused of defrauding a vendor at the Lagos Island market, Idumota.
Videos that made rounds online showed the Yoruba star being embroiled in a gold jewelry theft on Lagos Island. According to reports online, Lizzy visited a renowned market in Lagos on November 17, 2023, and patronized a vendor selling Stones for tailoring materials, which summed up to N91,000.
Due to miscommunication between the POS merchant and Lizzy Anjorin, Lizzy sent the money to the wrong account number, but because of her celebrity status, the vendor trusted Anjorin and allowed her to leave without confirming the payment, only to discover that the transaction wasn’t successful.
Fast forward to now, Lizzy patronized the same market and the same vendor and she was easily recognized despite concealing her identity with a nose mask. Drama unfolded after the vendor spotted her. Luckily for her, her husband was on ground to bail her out of the messy situation.
Though, Lizzy took to her Instagram Live to debunk the reports and blamed it on people trying to set her up, many didn’t believe her.
Defending her via his Instagram page, Yomi described Lizzy as a beautiful soul, a hardworking mother, a business owner, a filmmaker, and a giver.
He stated that he is always inspired by her regular charities, most of which don’t make it to the internet.

Unlike Yomi, Nkechi Blessing had mocked Lizzy as she took to Iyabo’s comment section to question who was trying to set Lizzy up.
Bakare Zainab, under Nkechi’s comment, left several laughing emojis.
Iyabo Ojo, who is at loggerheads with Lizzy took to her Instagram page to mock her. She shared a video of her living her best life and in another post, she shared a clip of an animated object dancing as she captioned it with several laughing emojis.
To make it worse, she announced a giveaway to her fans stating that she doesn’t do fake alerts.
