Nollywood actor and self-acclaimed human right activist Yomi Fabiyi has penned an emotional tribute to late veteran Yoruba actor Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe.
The father of one shared a photo on his Instagram page where Baba Suwe held his hands while they worked side by side. Yomi Fabiyi accompanied the post with an emotional tribute recounting how Baba Suwe upheld him in the movie industry.
Yomi Fabiyi, in his tribute, revealed that the late actor holds an important part of his life which will always remain valuable, stating no amount of success or greatness will make him forget his efforts.
“My Pressy, you held my hands at the beginning of my journey into the industry while taking my first steps, little did I know I will be privileged and trusted to held your hands too when you were taking the last steps in this industry.
“You hold an important part in my life cycle and it will always remain valuable. No amount of success or greatness will make me forget that singular effort of bringing me into this industry. This path I now follow started with you, my parent taught me never to be UNGRATEFUL to that.
“I will always remember and pray for you. I miss our jokes, memories and laughter boss. You remain a legend, household name, A-list comedian and a complete entertainer. Your legacies live on. Your last moment a SERIOUS LESSONS FOR US ALL.

Kemi Filani recalls that a few days ago, Yomi Fabiyi stirred the internet with a wedding video that sparked mixed reactions from fans.
Yomi Fabiyi shared a video of himself and another lady, Makanjuola Adedamola, adorned in beautiful bridal attire. The video was accompanied by cheering emojis from the actor.
Although there was no specific clarification from the actor if the video was from a movie scene, an advert, or he had gotten married, fans have taken to his comment section to congratulate him on his supposed nuptials.
Actress Ayobami Oyikan who reacted to the video, claimed what God cannot do does not exist.
She wrote: What God can not do does not exist.
