Nigerian actor and movie producer, Yomi Fabiyi has penned a touching note to his son, Akorede Fabiyi.
The actor, who is under the weather, affirmed that he would continue to love and appreciate his son in sickness and in health, in scarcity and in abundance.
He stated that he is glad he was there when he opened his eyes for the first time and vowed to always be there when he takes his first steps in life.
Sharing a video of himself on what seems to be a hospital bed with drips on his hand, Yomi Fabiyi hoped that his son would be there to hold his hands when he is old.
“I will continue to live and appreciate you, son, in sickness and in health, in scarcity or abundance. I am glad I was there when you opened your eyes for the first time and will be there when you invariably take your first steps in life. And hopefully, you will be there to also hold my hands when old and taking my last steps and close my eyes for the last time. Thank you for checking on me the other day IMOLE MI”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Yomi Fabiyi’s, Grace Jimoh Fabiyi had tried hard to shut down rumours of crashed marriage with the actor.
Grace Fabiyi worked hard to change the narration of their marital crisis after she previously goofed and called him out on social media.
On the 11th of May, 2022, Grace Fabiyi dragged him on social media. The mother of one took to her Instagram story to call him out and issue a stern warning to him; a move that further fueled their marital crisis rumours.
Grace warned him not to push her to the wall. She wrote, “Yomi don’t push me o @realyomifabiyi”.
In another post, she wrote, “If you don’t want God to punish you @realyomifabiyi”. However, the post has since been deleted.
The News became full-blown, and the couple tried to curb the situation by posting PDAs and showing off romantic videos of themselves on Instagram.
One of which was their visit to Sharon Parish, a celestial church in Ikorodu Lagos.
A fan who saw them at the church confirmed their visit in one of Grace’s comment sections and she acknowledged the fan’s post.
