Nollywood actor and producer Yomi Fabiyi has shared one of the threat messages sent to late singer Ilerioluwa Promise, popularly known as Mohbad’s neighbor.
In the message, the neighbor and his kids’ lives were threatened as they made him know that he was on watch and his car plate number was known to them.
Yomi claimed that the neighbor received the message on the 11th of September, 2024, before they met with the IT guy in charge of Mohbad’s house CCTV. He disclosed that he was to obtain the CCTV footage of what happened inside the house.
The Yoruba actor stated that people living in the singer’s house knew what happened as there was an active CCTV in Mohbad’s staircase, living room, kitchen, backyard, and front gate. Sending a message to the police and government, he stated that justice for Mohbad is nonnegotiable and if they wanted to kill more people to cover up, then it’s left for honest Nigerians to accept.
Yomi further claimed that his free movement is temporarily taken as he is still in hiding despite being abroad. He further disclosed that he is on the run because they want to assassinate him for exercising his fundamental rights.
“This was one of the threats sent to one of Mohbad’s neighbors on the 11th of September, 2024, prior to our meeting, so we could meet with the IT guy in charge of the house CCTV. I was meant to obtain the CCTV footage of what happened inside the house, showing how Mohbad died and what transpired. MOHBAD WAS LEFT TO DIE, AND THEY NEVER GET HIM MEDICAL ATTENTION.
Those in the house knew what happened. There was active CCTV in Mohbad’s staircase, living room, kitchen, backyard, and front gate. I mean bold to say that they were all working as at the time Mohbad breathed his last. The few neighbors’ CCTV close to his house also has overwhelming details and accounts.
JUSTICE FOR MOHBAD IS NON-NEGOTIABLE. If the Police and government want to kill more people just to cover up or want more people to die before they investigate thoroughly and allow this truth to be out, it is up to honest people and Nigerians to accept.

Kemi Filani reported last week that Yomi had alleged that his life was under threat as he claimed that he escaped assassination attempts. He disclosed that he escaped from assassins and they were still planning to kill him because he was fighting for justice.
In another post, he shared a video of the room he was hiding before he was taken straight to the airport. He stated that he was now in a safe country where the system works for everybody and where the government and police don’t cover up murder and homicide.
