Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi broke his silence after producer, Martini Animashaun dragged him for spreading false rumors about him and Toyin Abraham.
Kemi Filani reported that Yomi Fabiyi had alleged that the movie producer, who was the manager of Toyin Abraham in 2016, was having an affair with her. To add to it, he claimed that the movie producer was co-running the popular anonymous blog, Gistlover with Toyin.
Reacting to it, in a lengthy post on his Instagram page, he slammed Yomi for spreading the false rumors as he recounted how a relative reached out to him a few days back, about his conversation with Fabiyi and the words he spilled.
Debunking the claims, Animashaun stressed the importance of clarifying things, especially knowing Yomi is an attention seeker. He stated that nothing besides a working relationship existed between him and Toyin and Fabiyi has no baseless and factual foundation to back up his claim.
When Kemi Filani reached out to Yomi Fabiyi, the movie star, who has been in the news these past few days over his ex-lover, had stated that he was taking a nap. He added that it’s not everyone screaming his name, he would respond to.
Yomi urged our team to respect his privacy.
“I am busy taking a nap. It’s not everybody screaming my name that I will respond to. I will advise you to stop communicating with me. Kindly respect my privacy”.
Just days back, Yomi Fabiyi had shaded his colleague, Iyabo Ojo, and the other alleged syndicates of the controversial gossip blog, Gistlover blog, claiming that one of the syndicates was marking her birthday but wasn’t happy because the “monster she created cannot be linked to her.”
Although Yomi Fabiyi did not mention any name in his post, he hinted with a statement that said two of the syndicates enjoyed his unwavering loyalty, sacrifice, and commitment and it is no news that the actor and Iyabo Ojo were once buddies before their messy fight.
Yomi also faulted Nollywood stakeholders who permitted some people to find their way into their fold, stating they must be held accountable.
In a previous post, Fabiyi had dropped some bombshells on the anonymous blog, Gistlover, claiming that the blog is a syndicate and alleged that two actresses are major players in the syndicate.
He alleged that one is a Diaspora actress, who derived her name from the line, OBA from “Edunjobi Oba Oma”, as she is a twin. The other, he claimed is a top Yoruba actress, who is very close to Iyabo Ojo and has become her imminent nemesis. However, he made it known that Iyabo isn’t Gistlover.
