Nollywood actor, Yomi Gold has left many singing his praises as he celebrates the women in his life.
The Yoruba movie star took to his Instagram page in two different posts to celebrate his first and second wife.
In his post to his first wife, Yomi Gold promised to be a good father to their two kids and to never stop showing up for them.
He appreciated her for being supportive and for being a true definition of a loving mother.
He appreciated her for allowing him to be called dad and for everything she does.
“Happy International Women’s Day.
Your support and true definition of a loving mother can’t be overlooked.
Thanks for allowing me to be called Dad.
Am loving it. Am never going to stop showing up for them.
Thanks for all you do Vicky”.
For his second ex-wife, Yomi Gold appreciated her for everything.
He wrote, “Happy International Women’s Day. Thanks for everything Meenah”.
Yomi Gold divorces new wife months after dumping first wife
Kemi Filani reported early this year that Yomi Gold had announced his separation from his wife, Meenah whom he got married to barely a year ago after previously dumping his first wife of 15 years.
Making the announcement on his Instagram page, Yomi Gold wrote thus:
“Me and meenah decided to go our separate ways. I want all our families and friends, fans to understand. This is no time to judge anyone. When love dies in relationship. No one should force it . I want to use this time to thank everyone who has been very concerned and supportive.
Meenah is a good person.. she doesn’t deserve a man like me. She will make a great and loving partner to a far better person than me. I am not perfect.. I will work on myself and be a better person.
This as to be published because we want everyone who knows about us to be aware of our decision.
Time will be good again..”
As you may recall, Yomi and his first wife had a fall out in 2018.
His wife then accused him of leaving her and their two children to follow Ameenat, a promising actress.
