Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri Ezerika is celebrating her husband’s birthday today, Tuesday June 7.
The mother of one shared photos of herself and hubby on her verified Instagram page where she also eulogized her man.
“Happy birthday husband. The man with the brightest smile, a brilliant mind. And the most ambitious man I know. A soft hearted man wrapped in a tough shell. I’ve seen you serve people, humbly, and as annoying as it is to me, you’ve shown me that service to man and God is not a sign of weakness.”
“I love you, your humility, your peace, your silence, your listening ear, above all the headache you give me with your stubbornness, happy birthday chief,” she wrote.
However, her choice of photos for the celebration didn’t go down well with some of her followers who questioned her for always hiding her husband’s face despite the fact that they have been married for years.
A particular follower, @theultimatemildaofficial wondered if Ruth Kadiri snatched her husband from someone else.
She wrote, “You hide him as if you snatched him from someone else.”
It is no longer news that Mrs. Ezerika, has continued to successfully keep her marriage and husband’s identity a top-secret, she tells her reasons in a recent interview, “Okay, first of all, my marriage is not top-secret. If it were top-secret, you wouldn’t know that I’m married. Secondly, my husband is not top-secret, if you are close to me and you know me in the real sense, you would know that he’s not a secret. My husband goes to the location, he visits my set when I’m working. He’s home, my friends come home, they know him, they’ve had interactions with him, family and friends know him, what else? That’s just about it. I’m not about stressing emotionally, mentally, I’m just okay. Anybody that knows me personally, knows my husband and that’s alright.”
