Nollywood actor and comedian Ime Bishop Umoh, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has thrown an honest shade at people involved in cybercrimes and corrupt politicians.
According to the comic actor, internet fraudsters are joy killers and not heroic as they sweep away people’s life savings to acquire a luxurious car and lavish money on drinks in the club. Thus, driving poor, lower-middle-class people to depression as they don’t steal from the super-rich.
In addition to the shade, he also revealed that the politicians who steal the collective wealth of the poor people are in no way different from those mentioned earlier, as they were elected for their respective positions to carry out their rightful duties.
Meanwhile, he had vowed that their days should be dark and short, their paths slippery and thorny for the difficulties they put the masses through.
He wrote:
I say it again. If you are a cyber criminal , UNFOLLOW ME! it’s not even heroic. You are no ROBINHOOD as you don’t steal from the super rich to give the poor (starting from you).
The super rich are way beyond your reach. Sadly, you steal from the poor, lower middle class or at the very peak, if and only if you can, the upper middle class.
You sweep away live savings of many years of hard work and toil, drive them to suicide or the contemplation of it, just to buy a Benz in one day and do “DORIME”.
Also to ALL the corrupt politicians who STEAL the collective commonwealth of the poor people they were elected or appointed lead and provide for, may ALL your days be DARK and SHORT and your paths, SLIPPERY and THORNY! And may the congregation answer Amen!
