In a recent development, Afro-beat artist Iyanya has hit back at a troll who tried to undermine his talent and creativity.
Taking to the X-Platform, a Twitter user known as Basito expressed that Wizkid was only getting a lot of hate because he had surpassed the benchmark that people set for him and that he had become that benchmark himself.
Another netizen known as Mr Experience agreed with him and revealed that it was the same reason why Drake was getting a lot of hate in America. He further stated that the whole entertainment industry did not expect that tiny little white boy would get that far.
He revealed that people thought that Wizkid was going to end up like SamKlef and Iyanya. This was an obvious diss at music producer SamKlef and Afro-beat artist Iyanya. Reacting to this, Iyanya slammed the Twitter user. He expressed that this Twitter user would end up like his father.
“You will end upike your father.
This space is Toxic, y’all just wake up and undermine a creative’s years of work.”
He also lamented over how the Twitter space was toxic and that sometimes people wake up and undermine a creative years of work.
Recall that In the beginning of the week, Wizkid and Davido had been engaged in an online fight after Wizkid took to the X-Platform to share an embarrassing video of Davido allegedly begging his sidechick.
Davido had also reacted by calling Wizkid a woman beater and accusing him of domestic violence. Other musical artists had also chimed in as people showed their support for their respective favourite artists.
