Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has come to the defence of 2023 APC presidential aspirant Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Since announcing his political ambition, the politician has been subjected to mockery and memes over his failed health. Many Nigerians have made fun of him and have used his ill health as reasons not to vote him into power.
Cautioning those mocking him, he reminded them that sickness could happen to anyone, whether young or old.
He stated that it was okay for him not to be your choice candidate, but making fun of his age or health is wrong.
Yul Edochie pointed out how many may not be lucky to see old age.
“Old age is a blessing. And sickness can happen to anyone whether young or old. Making a mockery of Tinubu’s health or age is wrong. It’s ok if he’s not your candida but making jest of him cos of his age or health is absolutely wrong. You may not be lucky to see old age”.
This is coming weeks after comedian Okey Bakassi mocked Tinubu why defending his choice for Peter Obi.
Okey Bakassi, a big fan of presidential aspirant Peter Obi, had revealed why he is rooting for him.
Peter Obi stated that despite his love for Peter Obi, he doesn’t want Atiku or Tinubu to fail.
According to him, he wants Nigeria to succeed, hence his support for Peter Obi.
Okey added that if Peter Obi fixed Nigeria, Buhari and Tinubu wouldn’t be going to London for medical treatment, and Atiku wouldn’t have to live in Dubai.
“I don’t want Atiku & Tinubu to fail. I just want Nigeria to succeed. I’ll support and vote for @PeterObi to fix Nigeria, so in their very old age, Buhari & Tinubu won’t be going to London for medical treatment and Atiku won’t live in Dubai”.

The actor earned backlash after he took to his Instagram page to declare himself the most talked about man in Nigeria.
Sharing a side-by-side photo of him with Peter Obi, Yul bragged that they are the most talked about men in Nigeria.

In his comment section, many of his followers expressed disappointment in him for his daily choice of words and hunger for fame.
