Nollywood actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie has been subjected to mockery online after he celebrated his colleague, Ali Nuhu on his recent appointment.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that President Bola Tinubu had approved the appointment of Kannywood actor and Director, Ali Nuhu, as the managing director of the Nigerian Film Corporation.
Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesman, announced this in a statement on Friday, January 13th, 2024.
Taking to his Instagram page, Yul congratulated him on his new appointment, which he stated was clearly deserved. He prayed for God to give him all he needed to lead well.

Taking to his comment section, many made a mockery of him for being snubbed by the President despite his numerous campaigns and shows of love for him.

Recall that Yul made headlines when he gave himself a new name, Asiwaju Baby as he unashamedly declared love for President Tinubu.
Proving how much he loves him, he shared a photo of him rocking a Tinubu-inspired outfit – a native top, which had the face of the President on it.
In another post, he declared that Tinubu has his support as he believes he is a man of wisdom. He noted how as a leader, Tinubu has access to certain information that the citizens don’t have, hence, why some of his decisions may not be fully understood by the people.
His constant public endorsement of the president has certainly sparked a wave of reactions and discussions among Nigerians and netizens.

The movie star revealed that he received a delegation from the Northern Youths Consultative Forum, in his office in Abuja.
He stated that they honored him with an award and title as Garkuwan Martasan Arewa, for his contribution to nation-building, youth empowerment, and socioeconomic and political development.
