Things between Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and his estranged wife, May Edochie have taken a worse turn as the actor is demanding his bride price.
Recall that on Tuesday, Yul took many by surprise as he publicly dragged his estranged wife, countering her over her post claiming 2023 was her toughest year. Yul revealed that May had a breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck last year while pretending to mourn her son and she did it without his consent and with the endorsement of her married boyfriend.
Yul further dragged her for manipulating the public to bring him down, as he pledged that 2024 would mark the end of his silence.
In a follow-up post, Yul told May to stop with the manipulation as he had had enough and threw more light on her alleged breast enlargement.
Now taking to his Instagram page, the actor is demanding a return of her bride price as he noted how she has filed for divorce from him. He stated that the mother of his three kids had filed for divorce yet was refusing to drop his name.
“You have filed for divorce. Yet you refused to drop my name.
Return the bride price I paid, you and your family refused.
I have asked for the return of the bride price a couple of times, but you people vehemently refused. I don’t understand why”.
Recall that May and Yul Edochie got separated after his marriage to his junior colleague, Judy Austin, whom he had impregnated. The mother of three, who lost her first son in January 2023 later filed for divorce and demanded N100 million from Judy Austin for adultery.
May had also filed for a restraining order denying him access to their former matrimonial home, citing safety concerns, among others, and had gotten full custody of the kids.
Showing support for May amid the drama, actor, Benson Okonkwo noted how silent is golden as he indirectly stated that Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin are going to cry blaad.
Raining powerful prayers on May, he added that she would keep securing more bags and Gid would perfect all that concerns her.
Also showing support for May Edochie, Rita Edochie slammed Judy for controlling his social media accounts and using Yul’s influence to convey the lies. She stated that the upcoming actress was displeased with the series of endorsement deals that May has been getting, hence, why she was spreading lies about the mother of three.
Rita stated that she hasn’t been talking about Yul since the incident began because she knows Judy has bottled him and he is no longer the Yul they all used to know.
