Nollywood actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie has been left overwhelmed as he bags an award and title from the Muslim community, Arewa Youths.
The movie star, who has since relocated to Abuja following his separation from his wife May Edochie, revealed that he received a delegation from the Northern Youths Consultative Forum, in his office in Abuja.
He stated that they honored him with an award and title as Garkuwan Martasan Arewa, meaning, Shield and Protector of Northern Youths and Icon of Nation Building.
Yul added that the recognition is in appreciation of his contribution to nation-building, youth empowerment, and socioeconomic and political development.
“A few days ago I received a delegation from the Northern Youths Consultative Forum, in my office in Abuja.
They honored me with an award and title: GARKUWAN MARTASAN AREWA.
Which means, SHIELD AND PROTECTOR OF NORTHERN YOUTHS AND ICON OF NATION BUILDING.
In appreciation of my contribution to nation building, youth empowerment, socio-economic & political development, astute participation in good governance for the benefit of Humanity and Nigeria”.
Just a few days back, Yul Edochie had linked up with Northern actor, Ali Nuhu.
The two were seen on the set of a new movie, as the father of four gushed over his glowing appearance.
In a previous post, Yul Edochie had bragged as fans serenaded him at Abuja Bank.
The actor who was left overwhelmed by their sweet gesture, shared a video of him being hailed by his young fans in a bank, with names like Odogwu 1 and Ijele.
Bragging, Yul Edochie stated that since he entered the city, his fans have been amazing.
