Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has sent a message to his first wife, May Edochie while reacting to their photoshopped family photo.
Kemi Filani news reported May Yul Edochie, had released her Christmas photos without husband, Yul Edochie.
The mother of four marked her first Christmas without him, following her strong stance against polygamy.
Taking to Instagram, May shared a red and black themed Christmas shoot with their four kids.
She captioned it with, “Merry Christmas! The Queen, her princess and the boys”.
A zealous fan who noticed that Yul Edochie and his second wife were conspicuously missing at the family photo, photoshopped them into May’s Christmas photos.
Yul Edochie who saw the photoshopped family photo took to her comment section to praise her for the thoughtful act.
The father of five stated that this is how it should, one family all living in peace, love and jolly.
In a message to his estranged wife, Yul told her to rest, meaning that the actor wants her accept polygamy.
“Yes ooo Sarah. As it should be. Beautiful family. Blessed man with blessed family. Everybody will be living in peace, love and jolly.
May Zukwanike”.
May Edochie replies Yul Edochie’s public apology
Kemi Filani reported that May Edochie had left many in awe of her as she reacted to Yul’s public apology.
Recall that Yul who finally succumbed to pressure, publicly apologized to his wife for getting married to a second wife.
In a long epistle posted on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie acknowledged that he hurt his wife deeply but stressed that he had been an exceptional father to their four children. Read more here.
Reacting, May, in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, appealed to him to allow them handle their issues privately.
May Edochie reaffirmed that she wouldn’t be forced into polygamy neither would she be numbered as it is against her religion.
However, she believed forgiveness is the most beautiful form and she has chosen to forgive him because of her mental health and inner peace.
She added that she is incapable of hating anyone especially the father of her children. However, she wouldn’t succumb to his demands to being numbered in a home they jointly built.
May Edochie’s appeal to Yul
“I strongly believe that mistakes area major part of human existence. It is our response to these errors that count. I’m other words, forgiveness is one thing, and righting a wrong is another.
FORGIVENESS is the highest most beautiful form of love for me. There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love. Hence, my ability to forgive the mistakes of the past, present and future with respect to the issue on ground is in the interest of my mental health and inner peace.
I decided to stick to love…. Hate is too great a burden to bear. I am still very much incapable of HATING anyone,let alone the father of my children. The fact remains that anyone can choose to practice POLYGAMY, but can’t be impelled to accept what was never bargained for.
