Actor Yul Edochie has advised award show organizers to stop giving awards to people who don’t deserve it.
His words come just a few days after the Africa Movie Academy Awards took place in Lagos.
According to the actor turn politician, giving awards to people who don’t deserve it is not a way of helping them but killing their potentials.
Yul Edochie tweeted:
”Stop giving awards to people who don’t deserve it. You may think you are helping them but in actual sense you are killing them. It makes them believe they have arrived so they stop striving to improve their craft. In the end they remain half baked”.

The actor recently expressed his lack of understanding of the idea behind spending lots of money on a burial ceremony.
