Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has made a case for her colleague, Yul Edochie who lost the admiration of many when he married a second wife.
In an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast, Yvonne stated that the actor hasn’t done anything wrong as she noted how many of the people dragging him are from polygamous family.
She questioned why they are cursing the actor, yet praising Regina Daniels who is in a polygamous marriage. She noted how people use Regina Daniels as prayer points and wish to be in her position.
“You see this Yul Edochie ehnnn, 99% of people abusing him are from second wives, third wives, fourth wives ahd fifth wives. Sometimes wife that the family doesn’t know about. Let us stop being silly on the internet. I don’t see anything he has done wrong. I no dem go tear me to pieces when this interview gets uploaded. Why are you guys cursing him and making Regina Daniels your prayer point, only she fit advice you for marriage”.
Her statement left many disappointed in her as they slammed the mother of one.

It is no longer news that Yul Edochie who was one of the most loved actors in Nigeria, lost all public admiration after he not only impregnated his junior colleague but married her without his family backings and wife’s blessings. The actor wanted to force his first wife, May Edochie into polygamy which she refused and later filed for divorce, seeking N100m as damages.
Despite it all, the actor remains unruffled as days back, he threw a message to his haters, revealing his feelings about people’s opinions of him. He stated that despite being constantly dragged for over 2 years, he was still excelling and doing much better than most of his colleagues, and he added that the hateful comments does not get to him.
