Nairabet owner, Akin Alabi and Quilox boss, Shina Peller, have shared first pictures as Honorable members of the 9th House of Representatives.
Akin Alabi represents Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency, while Shina Peller represents Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa, all in Oyo State.
Akin Alabi also shared a picture with the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
He wrote:
“Years before I contested for a seat in the House of Representatives, Mr Speaker, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila was a great supporter and mentor. He is still mentoring me till today. Thank you sir. I am backing you sir to succeed in your new role”.
The 9th National Assembly was inaugurated yesterday with new leadership elected into both chambers.
Ahmad Lawan emerged senate president by defeating his rival Ali Ndume. His deputy Ovie Omo-Agege defeated former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
In the lower chambers, Honorable Femi Gbajabiamila was elected Speaker of the house of representatives while Idris Waise became his deputy.
