So, yesterday, Friday, March 7, 2020 was a Historic day for Ghanaians.
It was exactly 63 years ago, on 6th March 1957 that the country gained her independence from their colonial masters.
March 6, is particularly important not only for Ghana but for the whole continent.
They were the first sub-Saharan country to gain independence, under the leadership of Kwame Nkrumah, ending decades of white colonial rule.
Well, our very own Big Brother Nigeria star, Anita Natacha Akide, better known as Tacha joined the celebration in quite a glamorous way.
Tacha was decorated with Ghanaian attire and she looks as beautiful as the word could be.
She excitedly captioned the photos she shared, “GHANA, country of western Africa, situated on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea. Although relatively small in area and population, Ghana is one of the leading countries of Africa, partly because of its considerable natural wealth and partly because it was the first black African country south of the Sahara to achieve independence from colonial rule. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY MOTHER LAND! 🇬🇠.#GhanaAt63,” she wrote.
