Outspoken Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule a.k.a Blaqbonez has averred that people don’t respect former Mavin artiste, Reekado Banks as much as they should.
Blaqbonez made this known as a guest on Adesope Live podcast.
In his words:” I believe in giving people their flowers.People don’t respect Reekado Banks as much as they should.Reekado Banks is crazy, that Ozumba Mbadiwe song is ‘mental’.Ckay makes amazing projects”.
Asked about the reactions he has been getting for naming his album ‘Sex over love’, he said: “
I love the way it put me in a position where everybody knows what I am about.I am not a loverboy.I prefer sex over love”.
Blaqbonez who makes funny controversial videos to push his music also added that he is nnot trying to be an artiste that is predictable.
“I am not trying to be the guy that is predictable. I don’t want people to put me in a box. Don’t compare me to rappers .I am something different. I am someone that can do almost everything. I can sing with the best of them.I am not the Celine Dion of singing but if I am make a song, its going to sound as fine as that of anybody else”.
