A professional counselor and sex trauma therapist, Timi Oyebode has stated that masturbation is an act equivalent to rape.
The lady made this known while speaking as a guest at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
She was quoted as saying:
“You can’t Masturbate without imagining someone in mind and when you do such, you are partaking in RAPE.
For the person you picture in your mind hasn’t given you the right to touch or picture them in your mind”.
Her words were met with heavy criticisms on Twitter by many who felt her reasoning was archaic. She was, however, unbothered as she tweeted to state that the experience at the event where she made the statement was fired up.
