When the group Four Seasons sang their famous number ” Oh what a night!”, they must certainly had been inspired by an occasion like the 80th birthday of billionaire business titan and industrialist, Chief Rasak Akanni Okoya.It was a glitzty, classy and spectacular celebration.
Attended by the cream of Nigerian society including Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, authentic billionaire, Odole Oodua Sir Kesington Adebutu, Governors of Lagos and Ogun States, global philanthropist, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi and husband, Dr Ademuyiwa Ajayi, Hajia Bola Shagaya and Sir Olu Okeowo, virtually everybody who is somebody was there to honour and celebrate this man of means and Chairman, Eleganza Group.
Held at the Okoya’s expansive home, Oluwanisola Eatate, in Ajah-Lagos, the event which was creatively planned by the celebrant’s wife, Chief ( Mrs) Folashade Okoya delivered big time in terms of first-rate entertainment and upcale grandeur.

With Top Comedians Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and Tee A as Masters of Ceremonies, the star- studded party began in rousing manner as Beejay Sax took centre stage to thrill after which he heralded the celebrant and family to the arena.
His medley of songs put everyone in the right mood for the A-list artistes that were to follow: Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal 1, King Sunny Ade, Davido, Sir Shina Peters and Musiliu Haruna Ishola.
In the course of the event, there was a special presentation by Island Club and a dance drama on the life of Chief Okoya- the fun was so pulsating that guests were still rocking till 6 am!
