Nigerian Media Personality, Shade Ladipo has thrown a shade at those who advised her to settle for what appears to be less to her. This she did in a social media post in which she showed off her new man, the kind which many thought she could never have.
The 35 year old spoke of how people told her that her age can only see her settle for a divorcee, a married man, a baby daddy or an older man, and that most men will be repelled from her due to her level of success in life. She however proved them wrong by flaunting a dark-skinned guy on Instagram whom she introduces as her man.
Shade Ladipo wrote:
“It’s amazing how the world wants to tell you what you do or don’t deserve
Ha Shade you’re already 35, just manage a divorcee or maybe an older guy or maybe someone with kids ….
All these young guys don’t like strong women like you
Ha Shade you’re driving brand new car, you will chase young guys away
Ha Shade you’re living in a Penthouse Apartment, they will think you’re an Aristo babe
Ha Shade you’re too out there on social media, they will think you are too loose

No matter your age, please don’t let anyone define what your life should or should not look like
You decide that shit
Take away the power you have given to anyone around you to determine what Success looks likeDefine your standards
