Below are pictures of a boy who was allegedly beaten by his madam in Abuja. The pictures were shared on Twitter by a concerned Nigerian who called on authorities to wade into the situation so as to prevent the boy from further abuse.
The Twitter user wrote:
“This young boy works as a house boy at house 15, road F7, citec, airport road Abuja. A colleague of mine just said while she was at the area on a visit she saw the boy been beaten mercilessly by his madam.
“Though she intervened and saved the boy, I think this needs to be escalated to relevant authorities to save the young the boy from further abuse and possibility of causing father injury to the boy.
“Just got the picture of the woman that was maltreating the young boy. We can save this young boy”.
