A certain 23 year old woman, simply identifed as Deborah Nwachukwu , has been arrested by the police in Ikeja, Lagos after she allegedly escaped with her estranged lover’s SUV and other valuables.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on the 21st of October, 2019 at MKO street, off Toyin Street, Ikeja.
While reacting to the news, the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, Bala Elkana said the suspect stole a Toyota SUV, Wrist watch designer perfume and some cash from one Patrick.
According to Patrick, he had invited Deborah to help in cleaning up the house for him. They had met at a shopping mall where she sold cleaning products for a company and they had agreed N20,000 as payment for her services.
However, the suspect claims the invitation was not just for cleaning of the house but for sexual reasons.
After sex, she noticed Patrick was fast asleep and she quickly took his phones, wrist watch, designer perfume, some cash and his SUV and escaped from his house after locking him up in the room.
The suspect has been arrested and the stolen items recovered. She has been charged to court and remanded in correctional custody.
