Journalist Kadaria Ahmed has drawn the attention of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State to an ongoing demolition of houses in Ogba area of the state.
According to Kadaria Ahmed, such shouldn’t be done at a time when people need to remain in their homes due to COVID-19.
She also shared pictures from the demolition exercise taking place precisely behind Yaya Abatan street in Ogba.
”Dear @jidesanwoolu reports say there is an ongoing demolition exercise at a settlement behind Yaya Abatan street, before College Road Ogba by Environment Min. I know you cannot be aware officials are making people homeless at a time of #COVID19Nigeria Kindly intercede Thank you” she tweeted.
