In an attempt to get back at her co-wife, a young lady reportedly bathed her stepson with boiling hot water
The unnamed lady who has now been arrested for scalding her stepson with hot water as an aftermath of a fight she had with the baby’s mom is due to remain in police custody pending completion of the investigation
The incident happened, yesterday, in Gantsa, Jigawa State. It was gathered that the suspect had engaged in a fight with the victim’s mom and to get back at her, she targeted her son.
According to one Rilwanu Labashu Yayari, an eyewitness, the boy has since been taken to a hospital in the area, while the suspect is currently cooling off inside police custody.
