It has been reported that a 30 year , pregnant woman identified as Sughra Bibi, in Pakistan Sindh region has died from food starvation after obeying the lockdown order. The deceased’s husband, Allah bakhsh, said that is a daily wager and due to the lockdown could not find work and was facing problems in feeding his family, which includes six children.n.
He added that he did not even have the money to bury his wife. The local residents eventually raised money through donations for the burial of his wife.
Express News reported that after several investigations by the Sindh government it was discovered that the woman died due to starvation.
Pakistan is under lockdown for over a month now to check the spread of coronavirus which has claimed 176 lives and infected nearly 8,500 people in the country.
