A woman has accused an unnamed Taxify driver of robbing and beating her up after picking her up for a trip in Lagos.
The woman was found in Victoria Island, Lagos and rescued by an Instagram user, @adebolaisaac who shared a video of her bloodied face after the Taxify driver ran off with her belongings leaving her with injuries he inflicted on her.
The Instagram user wrote, “Does anybody know this lady? I met her at musa Yar’adua street vi, crying with blood all over her that the Taxify driver she took from ajah robbed her and made away with her belongings, I took her to Reddington hospital beside mega plaza. Anyone who knows her should please check her at the hospital. Pple be careful out there”.
Owners of the taxi app are yet to respond to the allegations as at the time of writing this post.
