According to reports, the management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) has suspended all Chinese staff in the institution over the coronavirus outburst.
This development has forced the Chinese department in the institution to shut down for the now as the department is reportedly currently not active.
The “Confucius” institute is a Chinese department managed by Chinese nationals in the federal institution.
Reacting to the news, some Nigerians have condemned the act while others showed support giving their reasons.
