Below is a video showing some women who stormed the streets in protest against Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State over the extension of the coronavirus lockdown period.
The lockdown period was extended by the governor yesterday in continuation of the fight against coronavirus in the state.
However, this didn’t sit well with some women who took to the streets to protest against the development.
The women numbering in hundreds could be heard chanting against the governor.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has also extended the lockdown period which he declared in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun. In a nationwide broadcast, Buhari stated that the extension will continue for another 14 days.
