Beyoncé announced on Twitter that her new single “Break My Soul,” off her upcoming album Renaissance, will be released at midnight on June 20, 2022.
The singer’s social media sites were updated tonight with the simple message “BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET.”
Last week, the Oscar and Emmy nominee and 28-time Grammy Award winner teased the release of her upcoming solo album, Renaissance, on July 29. Fans were alerted to the possibility of a scandal when the artist erased her social media profile pictures and bios earlier this month.
The album, which is projected to have 16 tracks, will be Beyoncé’s follow-up to her 2016 album Lemonade.
Beyoncé released her first single from her upcoming album Renaissance a bit early. The single, “Break My Soul,” was intended to drop at midnight ET, but instead went up on Tidal, the streaming portal originally owned by her husband Jay-Z.
