Nigerian talented singer and songwriter Mayorkun, also known as the Mayor of Lagos, has signed a new deal with the Columbia Records label in the UK.
This latest announcement was made on Friday, October 29, as Mayorkun finally dropped his anticipated sophomore album, Back in Office, which is currently attending across major streaming platforms
Columbia Records UK dropped the announcing via its official social media accounts as it revealed that Mayorkun had signed a new deal with them.
@IAMMAYORKUN IS NOW PART OF THE @COLUMBIAUK FAMILY + HIS NEW ALBUM ‘BACK IN OFFICE’ IS AVAILABLE NOW, the label wrote on Instagram.
Recall that prior to the release of the Back In Office album on Friday, Mayorkun had already dropped three tracks off the album earlier and they are ‘Let Me Know‘, ‘Back In Office‘, and ‘Holy Father‘ featuring Victony.

Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, known professionally as Mayorkun, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and pianist. He released a cover of Davido’s “The Money” single and was discovered by the singer on Twitter.
