Sungba Remix was released by YBNL’s latest buzzing talent, Asake, in collaboration with Grammy Award winning singer, Burna Boy. This Remix, again produced by Magicsticks, is poised to take over!
Throughout his debut EP, the eponymous Ololade Asake, the newcomer incorporates Yoruba gospel and fuji influences on bouncy beats to ruminate on his unfolding path and show divine appreciation (Yoruba praise poetry). Because Afrobeats is essentially spiritual, and the YBNL label continues to be one of its most revered churches.
Sugba, off the Ololade EP, went viral. The second tune, like any other street jam, is an addictive record with raw lyrics, often telling a lady not to be hesitant to flex since there is enough money to take care of her and in exchange, she needs to Sungbalaja.
