Oluwakayode Junior Balogun, popularly known as Barry Jhay, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and performing artist. He is the son of late Fuji musician Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. He won Rookie of the Year at the 2019 Headies Award.
Barry Jhay is from Ibadan in Oyo state and is currently signed to Cash Nation Entertainment.
Recall that some months back was alleged to have been involved in the death of his label head, Kashy Godson, who died in Ghana.
However, Barry Jhay, in a post via his Instagram page, shared screenshots of a statement from his lawyers and the investigative report from the Ghanaian police clearing him from any allegations linked to the death of Kashy Godson.
