Top 10 Nigerian songs of the month (January) 2022
The first month of January 2022 saw the Nigerian music industry pick up slow with the likes of Adekunle Gold dropping a new song dubbed Mercy ahead of the release of his new album set to be out later this year.
Nigerian veteran singer Reminisce also dropped a new song ahead of his anticipated album. DMW boss Davido continues 2022 with a feature from Skiibii, while Yemi Alade and Ayra Starr blessed us with some new jams.

This is one of my favourites songs released in 2022 so far, Mercy by Adekunle Gold was released ahead of his next album which is expected to be out in February 2022.

2. Baddest Boy remix by Skiibill ft Davido
Skiibii had in 2021 dropped the original version of Baddest Boy; however, the new remix has gained the attention of the Nigerian audience and once again proves the dominance of Davido in the Nigerian music industry.

3. Nwoke Oma by Chike
Chike started 2022 on a different level as he recently dropped a new song dubbed Nwoke Oma.
This song is a nice one for everyone trying to make a living out there as it comes with words of encouragement.

Veteran Nigerian singer Reminisce Alaga returned with a new song dubbed Alaye Toh Se Gogo after a hiatus from the music industry.

Mavin star Ayra Starr dropped another version of her hit single Beggie Beggie ft CKay, and it is already making waves.

Popular singer, Bella Shmurda started 2022 in a good way as he recently drop a new song titled “My Friend.”

Nigerian songster Bad Boy Timz released the visual for his song titled Skelele featuring YBNL boss Olamide this month and the song continues to trend across all streaming platform.
