The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, met with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in London, United Kingdom.
Among those who attended the meeting with Atiku were Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Ahmadu Fintri (Adamawa).
The meeting came hours after former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, led the Labour Party (LP) standard bearer, Peter Obi, to a meeting with Wike and three other governors in London.
KEMI FILANI NEWS had earlier reported that Governors at the meeting include Samuel Ortom of Benue, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
Details of the meeting can not be ascertained as at press, but observers believe it may not be unconnected with the 2023 general elections.
This publication recalls that a similar meeting took place when the All Progressive Congress (APC), Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, met with Wike and others in London.
