The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, played host to a few governors from the party at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos ahead of the 2023 election.
The aim of the meeting, which has not been made public, has Kassim Shettima, Tinubu’s running mate, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State.
Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State were among the APC governors at the meeting.
The meeting might have something to do with preparing for the 2023 presidential elections.
